B for Bromo

Celebrating the wrapping up of the final exams and my first semester here, I was pretending to be adventurous (like come on, it is *only* Bromo, not Merapi or even Semeru) with my college friends: Helena, Rischa, and Mala. We took a tiring, 7-hour night train ride to Malang, then bumped to Bromo the next day.

The first thing I realized when I stepped out of the train station was, Malang has really changed. I've been to Malang when I was still on the 1st grade and it was, as long as I remembered, it was only a small, little town on the edge of a mountain. Today, Malang is more likely to be Bandung's sister with its houses, weather, cafes and the hanging out places, and of course the ambience. I'd really love to live here really, as the weather is a favorite. I'd just curl up on the bed all day and feeling okay about it.

The pictures I took wasn't quiet good as it was gloomy all days, but anyway, finally a story and pictures in this post, enjoy! :D

Trying out the famous Bakso Bakar
Yay for Bromo~
Mala was pretending to be a fashion blogger (and obviously she fails so hard)

The thing that kept us warm all night

Rischa and Helena are excited for the sunrise!
..and too bad it was too foggy we couldn't watch the sunrise

A small food stall near my homestay. It's too cute I can't resist this
And it was raining all the time in my homestay area

I had such a quick trip. We didn't go to Batu or that so-called Jatim Park because the actual plan was that. We actually didn't plan to hang out in Malang but the train schedule made us to stay longer there.  Moreover, we were already tired by the trekking we did to Bromo's crater.
We are such an old lady alrite...

Oh well anyway, I'm still having a month to be free from college stuffs. Anyone cares for joining my other trips? Anyone? *wink*

P.S: some pictures are also from Rischa's and Mala's.

Forever yours x
